How to use a Rudraksha Mala

The Essentials: Using Your Mala

  • Who Can Wear It: Anyone can wear a Rudraksha. It supports the elderly, those healing from illness, and children over the age of 14.

  • How to Condition: To condition your beads, immerse them in ghee for 24 hours, followed by full-fat milk for another 24. Wipe them with a clean cloth and repeat every six months.

  • Meditation: Hold the mala between the thumb and ring finger. Men use the right hand; women use the left. Focus between the eyebrows and chant "Om Namah Shivaya."

When to Wear & When to Remove

  • Wear it Anytime: You can wear your mala during sleep or showers (cold water without chemical soap is ideal).

  • When to Remove: Do not wear during sexual activities or when visiting a cemetery.

  • Storage: If not wearing it, wrap it in clean cotton or silk. Store in a natural container (copper, gold, or silver). Never place it on the floor.

Ritual Care & Purification

  • Energizing: Soak in saltwater or use a copper vessel with holy water while chanting mantras.

  • Altar Offerings: Place beads on an altar. Offer fruits, unsalted nuts, or flowers monthly. Light a ghee lamp and incense to honor the energy.

  • Maintenance: Every 3 to 6 months, wash and oil your beads. This keeps them from becoming brittle or dry.

Personal Experience And Customer Review

To activate my Mala, I wore it for 40 days straight to sync it with my energy. After this period, it became a staple in my daily practice. After those 40 days, I incorporated it into my daily practices. I used it mainly to reprogram my subconscious mind!

Every once in a while, I smudge it in order to cleanse it from those releasing cycles, and I rub it with pure Olive Oil.

Customer Experience: Many report feelings of deep peace, better sleep, and seeing more synchronicities in their daily life.
